Aamir Khan gives up his fees after Lal Singh Chadha failure: Report

Aamir Khan has decided to completely give up his fees Lal Singh Chadha, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama. The film, which is the official Hindi version of the 1994 Hollywood film Forest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, was released worldwide on August 11. It was co-produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Amir Khan Productions. Lal Singh Chadha Also stars Kareena Kapoor in the main lead. The movie opened at Rs 11.70 crore and the five day total (Rs 45.83 crore) was less than the first day set (Rs 50.75 crore) of Hindustan thugsAccording to film commercial analyst Taran Adarsh. Due to the film’s loss at the box office, it is said that Aamir Khan decided to waive his fees and absorb all the losses in the film.

“If Aamir Khan decides to charge his acting fees, Viacom 18 studios would have incurred losses of approximately Rs 100 crore. However, this loss is something Aamir Khan has decided to absorb himself. Now, the producer will lose symbolic money,” a source close to Bollywood development revealed Hungama.

The film is directed by Advait Chandan and stars Naga Chaitanya. The film was shot in more than a hundred locations. Lal Singh ChadhaIt premiered on decks in October 2019 and ended in September 2021. The film’s release date has been pushed back several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film, which was said to have been produced on a huge budget of Rs 180 crore, collected only Rs 90 crore worldwide.
