Britney Spears has shared an open letter addressing her son, Jayden James Federline. Britney’s wide remark came after her son commented on his mother’s mental health in a recent interview. According to the Daily Mail, Jayden said in an interview that he “doesn’t hate” his mother and added, “I think 100% this can be fixed. It’s going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again,” he said Jayden. He also revealed why he and his brother Sean Preston were absent from their mother’s June wedding to Sam Asgari. “At the time, it wasn’t a good time to go. I’m not saying I’m not happy for her. I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t let the whole family go and if it was going to be Preston and I, I don’t see how this situation with good relations would turn out.”
In response to her son’s statement. Britney Spears has written about her struggles during the controversial period of guardianship that kept her under her father’s control for years. “I did my best to be the best person I could be… to basically be a hostage in homes under the supervision of nurses and hope that one day my children would understand my reasons for playing in the water and revealing to myself that any woman would be held under blankets and supervised under guardianship,” Britney wrote .
A Los Angeles judge in November 2021 dissolved the long-time guardianship of the singer’s father. Addressing her post, Brittnery wrote, “Finally at the age of forty without constraint what my family has done to me, I tell my son Jayden that I am sending you all the love in the world every day for the rest of my life.” Expressing her love for her children, Britney wrote, “My love for my children knows no bounds, and it saddens me so much to know he cries that I have not lived up to his expectations of a mother and perhaps one day we can come face to face with this and talk about it frankly. Maybe you can, kid. Dear if you explain to me why our family would do this to anyone.”
Referring to Jayden’s father and ex-husband Kevin Federline, Britney Spears wrote, “You helped your father, who hasn’t had a job in 15 years…I suppose it’s easier for you guys not to have anyone check on you to make sure you do your homework. I’m sure From the standards of your dad who smokes weed daily benefits your everyday life at age 15 to share a very cool generation. I totally understand your need to live with your dad as I had to play perfectly for 15 years for absolutely nothing.”
Britney sent her love to her son Preston, who has never made a statement publicly, writing, “I’m so glad I was able to make 4 rounds, Judge X Factor and so much more. I did it for you and Preston…I’m so aware of your talent.” I know you are a teacher in my life and a dear child, I’m a teacher for you too. It’s horrible to see your father as a hypocrite and he says the media is terrible but he has you to talk about personal matters to them. If you can stop for a second, remember where you came from. I wish you would look in the mirror and remember. “You are my child and always will be. Since Preston has not spoken, I send my love. I love nothing more than to see you face to face. Keep playing your gift on the piano. You and your brother are wonderful and I am so proud to call you both.”
Britney Spears signed the memo by addressing the mental health comment made by Jayden. She wrote, “As for my mental health, my dear child understands that you must learn to pick up a book and read it before you resort to even thinking of questioning my intellectual beloved. Tell your father to go and at least try to mow the lawn. Pss if you can sit honestly and say with your reasonable bright mind That what memaw and pawpaw did to me okay and call them..not bad people…then yeah I failed as a mother and I hope this is a conversation for you and your dad sits face to face and tries to figure out what’s good.”
