Last season was a special one for the Cincinnati Bengals.
It began with the return of quarterback Joe Burrow coming off an ACL injury.
With him and Ja’Marr Chase, the two led the Bengals to an AFC North division title.
It didn’t end there, however, as they defeated the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs to reach Super Bowl 56.
While last season was special, it looks like this season may have a repeat.
The Bengals currently lead in the AFC North, which means they can repeat this part of last season.
But can they return to the Super Bowl to complete a repeat of their miracle season?
Former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason believes in his team
It’s hard to criticize Burrow and his game lately.
He’s getting into the teeth of the Bengals schedule and beating these elite opponents his team faces.
It has prompted former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason to say that his old team are the undisputed kings of the AFC.

With him high on the young quarterback, it indicates that no other AFC team can unseat them.
If you look at how he’s played during the team’s six-game winning streak, you’ll see a lot of good things.
In the span of six games, Burrow threw for 1,556 yards, 14 touchdowns, and four interceptions.
His line is protecting him, too, as they average 1.3 sacks allowed in those six games.
If we continue to see a Bengals offense with Burrow’s current performance and the protection of his line, they may return to the Super Bowl.
