That will do it! DaBaby set the internet on fire last month when he released his song ‘Boogeyman’ and mentioned an alleged relationship with Megan Thee Stallion. Now, Baby finally addresses why he put the world in her business, along with her past drama with DaniLeigh, the mother of his youngest child, Velour.
In a recent interview on Ebro In The Morning, the rapper explained why he chose to talk about Megan. While speaking with Ebro and Peter Rosenburg, he explained:
“The song has been done for real, for real. Very close to turning one year old,” she said. “When I say something, it’s going to go off.” While you “It is what it is. I said a long time ago, keep me out of business. Is a song. He’s out right now. Black people can take it however they want.” Despite the backlash for the track, the 30-year-old star opted not to change the lyrics. “However, I don’t change the lyrics. It doesn’t matter what I say.
Rosenburg questioned why Baby didn’t change the lyrics to ‘Boogeyman’. Baby stands in her actions and firmly replies that she doesn’t change the lyrics. As the interview continued, the Charlotte native also addressed why she brought out Tory Lanez during her last Rolling Loud performance in June 2021 after Megan had just finished her performance.

He advised: “I don’t see it as good or bad. I’m not that involved in the business. As I say, right off the bat, I have a song with him; he’s doing fine. I could care less.”
As we previously reported, Tory’s appearance at the festival violated her restraining order against Megan.
As the interview continued, the hosts delved into their past drama with DaniLeigh. In November 2021, the world saw the two do it on Instagram live. “My daughter is beautiful. Full of love, full of joy, full of laughter. Full of smiles. Everything is alright. It’s all good.” In addition, she expressed that she wishes Dani had warned her brother, Brandon Bills, to back off before her altercation at a Los Angeles bowling alley in February.
