Devin Booker reflects and prepares for the season

The Phoenix Suns hope to put their painful postseason behind them and return once again to the NBA Finals in the upcoming 2022-23 season.

But the team hasn’t made many changes in recent months, leading some to say that’s not possible.

However, when it comes to a team like the Suns, you should never count them out.

Part of the reason so many people have so much faith in the Suns is their shooting guard Devin Booker.

Booker is an All-Star in almost every way and he’s still only 25 years old.

He has played in the league for 7 years and is ready to make Year 8 his best yet.

Devin dominating once again

Booker has always been good (he was averaging 22.8 points in his second season), but he’s gotten even better in recent seasons.

This is partly due to the growth of his own experience, but also due to the addition of Chris Paul, one of the best point guards in the world.

Booker is now averaging 26.8 points, 5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

Still, his team falls short of the greatness they crave and the rings they want to wear.

They came close a couple of seasons ago when they faced the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals.

They then finished last season with the best record in the West.

Still, some fear time is running out for the Suns: Paul could retire soon, the Western Conference is going strong and their chances of a championship could be dwindling.

Booker swears that he is ready to do more for his team and finally claim the ultimate prize.

We’ll see if he succeeds in the new season.
