Fans react to Zach Wilson’s Sunday performance

The New York Jets have suffered another loss en route to a playoff spot.

While the loss doesn’t knock them out of the playoffs, it does push them behind a roster of teams for one spot.

However, fans were mostly talking about Zach Wilson, the former first-round pick who was benched in favor of Mike White.

With White recovering from injury, the ball was in Wilson’s hands once again for 2022.

So what are the fans saying about his performance against the Detroit Lions on Sunday?

Fans have some positive things to say about Wilson

While Wilson didn’t bring victory to his team, he didn’t get too much hate from fans.

In fact, some fans praised him for one of his late-game pitches.

With less than 15 seconds remaining, Wilson threw a great pitch for a first down.

His pitch made at least one fan jump on the Wilson bandwagon, as they believe he should be the Jets’ starting quarterback.

However, one fan sees Wilson’s last-second heroics as the “greatest play of his career.”

But even with some fans behind him, others still doubt him.

For those fans, he just got lucky with his performance against the Lions.

It still sucks. The luckiest game of his life.

While he did get all 317 of the Jets’ passing yards and two touchdowns, it wasn’t enough to win everyone over.

Those fans should be focused on his terrible completion percentage, rather than his other highlights from Sunday’s game.
