The NFC East is no longer the weakest division in the NFL.
They are currently viewed as the best division in the league, given that all four teams would be in the playoffs, assuming the season ended today.
This week, the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to meet in what should be one of the best games of the year.

Both defenses are incredibly elite, each allowing just over 10 points per game.
Each team’s defense is playing at a high level, but is also backed by some of the best defenses in the league.
The Eagles offense is averaging 29.4 points per game and the Cowboys offense is averaging 28.1.
This matchup is set to be a bloodbath, even though the Eagles will be without a key offensive contributor.
Sunday game preview
On Sunday, the Eagles will likely be without their star quarterback, Jalen Hurts.
In their win over the Chicago Bears last week, Hurts suffered a shoulder injury, which will likely cause him to miss the game against the Cowboys this week.
The Eagles likely need to start backup quarterback Gardner Minshew.
In his time with the Eagles, Minshew has been called up to start on two separate occasions, resulting in a 1-1 record.
Minshew was the starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars and had a 7-13 record.
Can Minshew handle the Cowboys’ defense on Sunday?
Although the Eagles have already clinched their spot as the division leaders, they are still fighting for a position as the number one overall seed in the NFC.
