Fans expressed concern about Mike Tyson after he appeared at a game at the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Iron Mike is now 56 years old, but it’s hard to tell. The heavyweight boxer looked like he’d never get old in his prime, because he was one of the most terrifying boxers ever to enter the ring.

Even as late as two years ago, Tyson was still in the boxing ring. In November 2020, the former champion returned to the sport to face Roy Jones Jr. in a show match on Triller pay-per-view.

The match ended in a draw but saw the 56-year-old being praised for his performance as he had been out of the ring for 15 years. After the draw, Tyson stated that it would not be his last fight and that he would return in the future.

However, that comeback did not happen, and the heavyweight retired from boxing earlier this month. One of the reasons Tyson retired was due to back injuries. He was last seen in a wheelchair at an airport last month.

Mike Tyson was seen yesterday without a wheelchair and was walking around in the Miami Dolphins’ win over the New England Patriots. However, it was clear that the former champion was walking slower, and fans noticed this.

Fans thronged to Twitter to express their concern about how slow he was, and even mentioned that he appeared to be wearing “cement boots.” Others decided to be internet trolls and make fun of him.

Mike Tyson discusses retirement

Last month, Mike Tyson decided to retire for the second time.

Iron Mike first retired in 2005, after a loss to Kevin McBride. Tyson has stated that his heart is no longer in the sport and that competing in the ring is no longer fun.

Fifteen years later, Tyson decides to come out of retirement to confront Roy Jones, Jr. After that, Tyson stated that he would compete again.

However, he did not. The 56-year-old quietly announced his retirement in an interview with News Max Last month. He said:

“The boys want to fight with me for $100 million, but I don’t think I’ll ever do something like that again. I wanted to do it the first time, just to have fun, and have fun. Then some people took it to someone else’s level and wanted it for financial reasons only, so the fun was over.” .
