BCCI submitted New Jersey for the ICC T20 World Cup and it has started making headlines. Fans are delighted as the jersey is a combination of light and dark blue colours. One billion people would expect the new jersey to bring about a change in fortunes, as the 2022 Asian Cup was below average.

Captain Rohit Sharma would be aware that there is not much time left for experimentation. The team needs to find the best combination as soon as possible, otherwise the same performance of the T20 World Cup 2021 edition would be on the cards. Players batting stances must be corrected as musical chairs must stop as it is not sustainable in a marquee event.

Rishabh Pant in Jersey

Indian Cricket Team wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant posted a message on his social media account. “How is our new jersey? I loved,” Pant said in a social media post.

Middle order conundrum for management

We have all seen that Suryakumar Yadav has a tendency to go with the game by playing weird shots. The batsman was used as a starter in the West Indies tour and did wonders. The team shouldn’t try to complicate matters by moving up ahead of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, even if the situation demands it as the balance of the team is upset.

Suryakumar needs to develop the waiting game because when the team loses a couple of wickets, going bang-bang is not going to be a feasible option.

Recently, veteran Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer pointed out that Rishabh Pant should be used as a starter in the T20 World Cup 2022 as the seasoned campaigner believes that is Pant’s best batting position.

Management needs to keep one thing in mind: experiments are done when the team has finished its best 11 game, not when there is uncertainty.
