Tim David, the Australian batsman from Singapore, is set to make his Australian debut in the upcoming T20I Series against India. The finalist would be thrilled to take on the fast Indians, as he was previously seen at IPL 2022 smashing them all over the park. Cricket Australia would expect it to continue its franchise form at the International Arena.

Tim David played 127 T20s and racked up 2,725 runs with an average of 31.68 and a healthy strike rate of 163.17. He has scored 11 half centuries and there is no question why he was a force to be reckoned with. Tim David would no doubt be eager as playing franchise cricket and international cricket is quite different.

Pat Cummins on Tim David

It’s great to see Tim David get his chance. He has been up there with the best in the world. Batting in the middle order of T20 cricket is a really tough place.

“You see most of the run scorers starting or hitting at the top of the order. It’s really hard to be consistent going in when there are spin bowlers or late innings. I think it’s been fantastic”, the fast pitcher said.

If he gets the chance, hopefully he can continue to do what he’s been doing in national leagues around the world. I think it’s an X factor. It just does it slightly differently, so look forward to it,Cummins said.

Time is running out for Aaron Finch

Captain Aaron Finch would be looking forward to some racing as his form has gone from bad to worse. Earlier, during the Chappell Hadlee Trophy, he announced his retirement from ODI Cricket due to a series of low scores. Cricket Australia hopes he doesn’t hang up his boots with less than a month to go.

The pattern’s weakness is that it easily gets caught under birth weight and once again its chink in the armor would be exposed. Captain Rohit Sharma would seek to expose Australia’s middle order, which is not that powerful. If the Men in Blue can restrict Aussies to fewer than 160 races then they are in the driving seat.
