India was forced to make two changes when Kuldeep Yadav and Ishan Kishan replaced Deepak Chahar and Skipper Rohit Sharma. Sprinter Taskin Ahmed entered the team in place of Nasum Ahmed and Yasir Ali replaced Najmul Shanto.

Ishan Kishan was in beast mode when the left-handed batsman crushed a stormy 210-run two-century strike. The Cricketer made a strong statement to the selection panel that he is not done yet. Former skipper Virat Kohli achieved his 72nd international century and surpassed the legendary Ricky Ponting’s tally of 71 tonnes. The Men in Blue posted a mammoth total of 409-8.

Substitute skipper KL Rahul would be disappointed with his performance as he managed to score 8 runs off 10 balls at one batting lane. The captain was instrumental in captaining him as he rotated the bowlers cleverly. It was a team performance from the bowlers as India won the match by 227 runs.

Bangladesh would be shattered as no one expected them to lose by such a large margin. Management would be looking at having Mahmudullah hit at the No. 3 position, as he is someone who has the ability to play long innings. The Bangladesh cricket team had a reality check as this loss will hurt them a lot.
