India beat Bangladesh by 227 runs in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday 10 December. Ajit Agarkar said that Virat Kohli would give Litton Das a present for dropping the catch on him.

Kohli and Kishan mounted a winning position of 290 runs with the latter being the aggressor, crushing the bowlers in the park, while the former played second fiddle to him. Kishan scored an impressive 210-run double century off 131 balls, while Kohli scored 113 runs off 91 deliveries, his first ODI century since August 2019.

Ishan Kishan had taken the pressure off him – Ajit Agarkar
During a discussion on Sony Sports, Agarkar stated that the former Indian captain’s confidence grew as his innings progressed, with Kishan’s explosive punch helping his cause.
“I think Ishan Kishan’s innings helped him a lot. He will definitely send something to Litton Das because catches like this are very rarely lost in international cricket, but you also have to remember that he made a brilliant catch in the first game.”
“You could take your time today. She had dropped a wicket early so he had time. The court continued to improve. The flow came later, no doubt it was a struggle at first, but Ishan Kishan took the pressure off.”
Virat Kohli will be relieved – Ajit Agarkar
Agarkar believes Virat Kohli will be relieved to end his ODI century drought. The former fast pitcher said he’s had good starts of late, but he hasn’t been able to turn them into big scores, as he has in the past.
“He will be relieved, not just because he scored runs, but because he scored a century, as he has recently on a number of occasions where he has started and generally in his career he used to score big when he started. he starts, but it wasn’t happening”.
Former Indian Captain Virat Kohli took the overalls off his back in ODI by breaking his first century in the over 50 format in 25 innings after 1214 days. His last century of his ODI came in 2019, when India toured the West Indies after the ODI World Cup.
