The IPL 2023 auction is expected to be fascinating. Last year, there was a mega auction when two new teams Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) entered the competition. The 2022 edition was notable, as there was even competition between bat and ball.
The likes of Kane Williamson and Dwayne Bravo weren’t held back by their franchises, which were pretty amazing. It will not be wrong to say that IPL is becoming a performance oriented league. It would be interesting to see how the 2023 auction in Kochi plays out on December 23.

Recently, Ricky Ponting hinted that Delhi Capitals (DC) might go for him as we can expect many franchises to bid for him.
