In 2019, Jenelle Evans and David Eason lost custody of the three children they were living with at the time.
Each of them has an additional child from whom they have already lost custody.
After a protracted court battle, three of the couple’s five sons were returned to their parents’ custody.
But it takes Many For CPS to step in with such extreme measures, concerns about Jenelle and David’s competence as parents persisted.
These concerns have been particularly prevalent in recent months, thanks to Jenelle’s new career as the creator of OnlyFans.
Some critics may be attacking Evans unfairly just because she makes money through sex work.
But others have expressed legitimate concern about Jenelle and David’s tendency to embark on “working holidays” without their children.
(Genelle and David obviously engage strictly in adult activities during these trips, but critics point out that it would be a good idea to embark on a family-friendly vacation once in a while for the sake of their children.)
Anyway, Jenelle has received more scrutiny than ever in recent weeks, thanks to the news that she will soon be returning to television with a new “Dynamic” series.
That might explain the criticism she’s receiving for this latest photo of her 8-year-old son Kaiser.
“Ear candles. He begged me to do this,” Jenelle captioned the photo.
According to The Sun, commentators were quick to criticize Jenelle for allowing her son to engage in potentially unsafe activity.
“At its best, earwax is a poor way to remove wax. At its worst, it can cause serious damage to your ear,” WebMD says about it.
“It’s also dangerous to put a lit candle near your face. Flame or melted wax may burn you.
This last part should be obvious, but some fans think Jenelle is the type who often needs obvious things to point out.
Whatever the case, when it comes to being criticized for neglecting parenting, Jenelle is in great shape this week.
She has also been criticized for sending her daughter Ansley to school with wet hair.
“Su Hee sends Ensley to school with wet hair? Wtf,” a critic wrote on Reddit.
Another added: “The look on Ansley’s face makes me feel uncomfortable.”
“Her body language, really harsh, I don’t know if I’m reading it but it makes alarm bells go off,” a third voice rang.
Others saw Inslee’s facial expressions as “strange” and seemingly “a cry for help”.
Are fans hard on Jenelle?
Can. But given how much Evans talks about everyone else on the planet, it’s hard to feel much sympathy for her.
