The San Francisco 49ers continue to win games no matter who the quarterback is.
On Thursday night, the 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks to clinch the NFC West title.
Surprisingly, the 49ers continue to look like a well-oiled machine on offense with rookie quarterback Brock Purdy.
As the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Purdy was not expected to make any impact in the league this season.
Instead, he’ll lead this Niners offense to the playoffs.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has high praise for his rookie quarterback.

This is amazing to hear from Shanahan.
Since he has trained the likes of Robert Griffin III and Trey Lance when they were rookies.
But the way Purdy has played in all three of his starts makes it hard to argue with Shanahan.
Purdy has thrown for six touchdowns and just one interception in games he’s started.
With the Niners having a great running game and defense, not turning the ball over should be Purdy’s number one goal.
How far can Purdy take SF?
It’s fair to wonder if the magic will wear off Purdy at some point.
We’ve never seen a seventh-round pick have playoff success in their first season.
But, with Shanahan’s great offensive mind, he’ll be sure to put Purdy in a place to succeed.
If the 49ers ever win big in a game, they’re in trouble.
But as long as they can run the ball, hold the lead and control the clock, Purdy should be fine.
He doesn’t have Garoppolo’s playoff experience, but Purdy is still capable of handling this 49ers offense to a few playoff wins.
