Earlier this week, the world was not surprised to learn that Leonardo DiCaprio has split from Camila Morrone after four years of dating.
You see, Camila turned 25 in June, and since a week of memes, jokes, lists and charts might have mentioned you, the 47-year-old Leo has never dated anyone over the age of 25.
Start. Not once.
We’re starting to wonder it’s wrong to make fun of this guy because he’s been cursed by a witch, and his donghae will turn green and fall if a 26-year-old touches him.
Perhaps he made a deal with the Devil around the time Titanic was released, and in exchange for becoming king of the cinematic world, Leo could never settle with someone who could legally rent a car on his own.
Of course, the most likely explanation is that the guy just enjoys hitting on young supermodels, and freaks out when things start to get serious.
Anyway, Leo reportedly didn’t waste any time diving back into the dating pool.
According to a new report from In Touch, the Oscar winner is already collaborating with model Gigi Hadid.
“They have known each other for several years. A tabloid insider said:
“She’s exactly his type: cool, sexy yet low-key with a unique attitude.”
In other words, she’s the perfect “cool girl” that Amazing Amy so memorably described in Gone Girl.
As a blonde “not looking for anything serious” model, Gigi might look like the perfect candidate for Leo’s next girlfriend job.
Unfortunately, she has the fatal flaw of being 27 years old – which may explain why DiCaprio keeps things casual.
“It’s casual and nothing static. But they have a lot of friends in common,” adds the insider.
“However, a third source reports that they are spending time as close friends.”
Gigi previously dated Zayn Malik from One Direction fame.
The two just broke up last year, so you might be looking to limit this to a “friends with benefits” arrangement as well.
As for Leo, a different source says his breakup with Camila happened gradually, but it’s definitely over for good.

“Leo and Camila have had a few breaks in the past few months. It’s a matter of deciding if they’ve been in it for that long or just letting it die,” an insider told In Touch.
“With all of Leo’s girlfriends, once she was focused on work and setting her own priorities, he became distant. Instead of a dramatic breakup happening, they separated some time.”
So it looks like Leo bounced back with Gigi and is now back on the prowl.
