With over three decades in the industry and over 30 films under his belt, it’s surprising to learn that Marlon Wayans recently starred in his first family film: The Curse of Bridge Hollow. The new Netflix horror comedy, which Marlon also co-produced, follows a family that moved from Brooklyn to a small New England town. Everything seems to be going well… that is, until things start to go terribly wrong. As the Halloween decorations begin to come to life and terrorize the town, Marlon and his on-screen family (Kelly Rowland and Strange things‘ Priah Ferguson) are forced to face their fears and save their new community.
I sat down with the multi-talented animator (actor/writer/comedian/producer) for our Then & Now interview series to discuss his latest film, as well as some big-name projects from his past.
