“Never Underestimate The Power Of BCCI”: Twitter Reacts As Ramiz Raja Is Reportedly Fired As PCB Chairman

Ramiz Raja, 60, has been sacked as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) following Pakistan’s humiliating defeat in the three-match Test series against the England National Cricket Team on his home ground, according to the reports.

Pakistan performed poorly during the three match series against England and lost all three matches. It was the first time Pakistan had been whitewashed at home and it was also the first time they had lost four successive Tests on home soil, having been beaten by Australia in Lahore in March.

After losing the three-game series against England, Pakistan’s chances of qualifying for the 2021-23 ICC World Test Championship final are very slim and are highly dependent on the results of the other teams to go their way.

According to media reports, Najam Sethi will replace Ramiz Raja as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has already approved Sethi’s appointment.
