PAK vs ENG: “England ‘chewing a bit’ to start first Test in Pakistan” – James Anderson

The England cricket team is set to face Pakistan in the first Test match on December 1. This Test series is expected to be an exciting one as England’s fearless approach will be put to the test. England may have to change their approach as the pitches would be spin friendly.

Pakistan would be looking at a Triumph which would give them a solid shot at the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) as they currently sit in 3rd with a 53.33 percentile. The Men in Green would be well aware of the fact that they cannot allow England to take advantage, as England have a tendency to get away with it.

James Anderson in the test series

James Anderson was having an interaction with the media and was asked about the upcoming Test Match. “We are very excited. Especially after the summer we had in Test Cricket, we felt like we were building something and we want to keep that kind of momentum going and to be a part of that in the summer was amazing.” James Anderson said.

“So to be a part of what is a really exciting challenge for us here…Different conditions, different to what we will have experienced before as a group. It’s a really exciting challenge and I think we’re all looking forward to it.” added.

Exciting card contest

This Test Series is Brendon McCullum’s first assignment outside of England. The team has thus far had a prolific run under the leadership of Ben Stokes, as the team has been ruthless. It would be quite interesting to see how management uses James Anderson and Stuart Broad, as the duo seems unlikely to appear in the same 11.

Pakistan would be well aware of the fact that they need to bring their ‘A’ game against England. England have a long batting lineup which makes them a dangerous unit. Skipper Babar Azam would be waiting for him to break his shackles and play a significant shot for the team.
