Steep road ahead for Pakistan

With Haris Rauf ruled out of the Multan Test Match, the bowling attack now looks fragile. The absence of Shaheen Afridi is undoubtedly hurting Pakistan as the pacer has a knack for picking up wickets at crucial match junctions.

It seems unlikely that Hasan Ali will be called up as a replacement as the speedster has no promising numbers behind him.

England would be keen to seal the series in Multan, which begins on December 9 (Friday). England will have to be careful here as Multan is supposed to be a competitive ground. With Liam Livingstone ruled out of the Test series, there is a chance that 18-year-old Rehan Ahmed will have a chance as he too is a useful batsman.
