Salma Hayek Pinault Says Lap Dance Scene in ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance’ Was “Very Physically Challenging”

Salma Hayek Pinault opens up about filming Magic Mike’s Last Dance with Channing Tatum.

In an interview with entertainment tonight which was published on Thursday, the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish The actress explained behind-the-scenes lap dance filming with Channing Tatum which can be seen in the newly released trailer.

“It’s very physically challenging,” Pinault said. Eastern Time. “My God. Just wait and see. It’s just complicated.”

In the third installment of the franchise, “Magic” Mike Lane finds himself bartending in Florida when he hooks up with a wealthy socialite, played by Pinault. Then his character drags Mike to London with a tempting business offer to headline a dance show. In the film, Tatum reprises the male stripper role of him, which is roughly based on his own experiences as a stripper in Florida.

Pinault also talked about what it was like to play her role, which replaced Thandiwe Newton, in the dramedy.

“I play a strong woman”, the Frida said the actress. “Do you know what my day was going to the office? She sat me down and watched about 12 men dancing half-naked and doing pirouettes. And I have to send them.”

The Steven Soderbergh-directed film also stars Ayub Khan-Din, Gavin Spokes, Caitlin Gerard, Juliette Motamed, Jemelia Georg, and Vicki Pepperdine.

Magic Mike’s Last Dancewhich is expected to close the series, will open in theaters on February 10. Until then, Pinault’s voice can also be heard in the upcoming animated adventure comedy. Puss in Boots: The Last Wishwhich opens on December 21.
