There’s a hero in the making in Justin Jefferson and his performance this season with the Minnesota Vikings.
While receivers are trying to break records this season, it’s Jefferson who shines the brightest.
With one stat, you’re blowing everyone else out of the water.
Jefferson has all the giants getting center pace in one stat
The beast inside Jefferson in 2022 sees him dominate all other receivers.
However, with receptions of 20+ yards, he ranks at the top with 25.
But those 25 receptions of 20-plus yards are four more than the entire New York Giants receiving core.

These numbers do not include the 20-yard reception he had during his game against the Indianapolis Colts, which now puts him at 26 for the season.
His performance puts him three ahead of Tyreek Hill and 11 ahead of Stefon Diggs.
With these two players as second- and third-place contenders against Jefferson, he’s showing pure dominance in 2022.
However, he is looking to crush another stat in the last three games of 2022.
Jefferson seeks to set a single-season receiving yards record
With three games remaining, Jefferson is 341 yards shy of tying Calvin Johnson’s record for receiving yards.
While the Vikings could yank Jefferson if they can’t clinch the number one playoff seed, he still has a chance to break this record.
If the Vikings let him play, he has three opponents that rank in the top 15 in pass defense.
While he wants to break this record, the Vikings’ playoff placement will decide whether or not he plays.
