The closing ceremony of the World Cup 2022 will be ‘A night to remember’

Nearly 90,000 people are expected to attend Sunday’s closing ceremony at the Lusail Stadium followed by the France-Argentina match.

After a month of soccer, and a total of 63 matches, the Qatar 2022 World Cup is scheduled to conclude on Sunday night.

The gates to the Lusail Iconic Stadium open at 14:00 (11:00 GMT). The final of the France-Argentina World Cup is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. GMT).

Who is acting? FIFA has promised a “mix of songs” from the official soundtrack of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Qatari composer Aisha will open with a performance of the tournament’s theme song “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” with American-Nigerian singer Davido.

The duo’s performance will be followed by the collaboration of Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna and French rapper Gims “Arhbo”.

Moroccan-Canadian singer Nora Fatehi, Emirati pop star Balqees, Iraqi musician Rahma Riad and Moroccan vocalist Manal will conclude the performances with “Light the Sky”.
