The England vs Pakistan cricket rivalry in numbers

England have an advantage in head to head but Pakistan are not far behind in other columns.

T20 World Cup finalists England and Pakistan have peaked at the right time in the tournament.

Pakistan were all but eliminated from the World Cup following their loss to Zimbabwe, but lopsided victories in the remaining three group matches, along with help from the Netherlands, secured their place in the semi-finals, where they defeated New Zealand.

England’s route to the semi-finals was not nearly as dramatic. But there was a feeling that they hadn’t hit their stride in the tournament. All of those concerns were eased in the semi-final, where they decimated the much-loved Indians by 10 wickets.
