These are five football matches that you should not miss today

From La Liga and Serie A to the MLS Cup final, these are today’s best soccer matches.

It’s November, with only a few match days left before the world’s top domestic soccer leagues are suspended and all eyes turn to the World Cup in Qatar.

On another super Saturday, here are our five matches to watch today:

Barcelona vs Almeria

Galatasaray-Besiktas

Where: Nef Stadium, Istanbul
When: 19:00 (17:00 GMT)

Galatasaray would be four games unbeaten at home if they pull off a win against local rival Besiktas, who sit one place above them in the Turkish Super Lig.

A win for Besiktas, meanwhile, would put four points between the two teams, but they will need to overcome a Galatasaray defense that have conceded just nine league goals this season.

Besiktas, who have found the net 25 times in their 12 league games so far this season, are also buoyed by the recent return of Senol Gunes as head coach. That said, keep an eye out for Kazimcan Karatas’ return from Galatasaray following injury. This will not be an easy game for either team.

Manchester City-Fulham
