With the MLB Winter Meetings drawing to a close, many of the best free agents are still up for grabs.
This has been crazy free agency up to this point with many star players changing teams.
So we should expect a lot more movement through the rest of the offseason.
Many contending teams need to make a big splash before free agency ends.
With that said, here are the three best free agents left on the market.
1. Carlos Correa
There are many teams interested in Carlos Correa.
The 28-year-old is one of the crown jewels this offseason.
His market continues to heat up with many teams looking to give Correa more than $300 million.
The teams with the most interest in Correa appear to be the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins.
The next step for the Giants is to dive into the shortstop market, with Carlos Correa at the top of their list. They’ve pushed hard for another starting pitcher in recent days and still want one more outfielder.

The Giants appear to be the most aggressive, after missing out on Aaron Judge.
San Francisco promised their fan base that they would spend big this offseason.
So getting a star player is almost mandatory for the Giants.
2. Carlos Rodón
The best starting pitcher left on the market is Carlos Rodón.
He’s a lefty starter who has elite stuff and Cy Young potential.
Last season, Rodón finished sixth in the National League Cy Young voting.
There doesn’t seem to be a clear favorite in the race for Rodón, but many teams are interested.

The elite starting pitcher is hard to come by and Rodon is the last one standing.
3. Xander Bogaerts
Another of the elite shortstops available is Xander Bogaerts.
The difference between Bogaerts and the other shortstops is that he’s already 30 years old.
But, its market is still very strong.
Bogaerts hit .307 last year with 15 home runs and 73 RBIs.
Despite his decline in power, he is still an elite contact hitter.
The Boston Red Sox remain the favorites to re-sign the shortstop.

But, don’t write off the Cubs running at him.
Chicago has been interested in all the superstar shortstops, and Bogaerts tops that list.
