According to the LA Times, Nicole Linton, the woman responsible for a deadly crash in Los Angeles that killed six people last month, was driving 130 mph at the time of the Windsor Hills crash.
Prosecutors filed court documents Friday that indicated more data was analyzed and showed that Linton accelerated five seconds before the tragic crash.
Authorities initially believed Howard’s alum was traveling at a speed of 90 mph.
Further analysis reveals that his speed at the time of impact was in fact 130 mph and that he was on full throttle for at least 5 seconds prior to the fall. shockgoing from 122 mph to 130 mph,” the presentation read.
The documents also state that the 37-year-old woman had “full control over steering, keeping the steering wheel tilted so her car would travel directly into the crowded intersection.” The filing also stated that the new findings refute the argument that she was “unconscious or incapacitated.”
Day of Linton’s fatal accident
On the day of the fatal accident, Linton’s behavior was “terrifying” on the day of the fatal accident.
Howard’s student’s attorney stated:
In the days and hours leading up to the events of August 4, Nicole’s behavior became increasingly frightening.
Linton FaceTimed his sister while she was naked on her lunch break and caused the fatal accident at 1:30 p.m. on the way back to the hospital.
Linton’s sisters, Camille and Kim, spoke to each other just four minutes before the Windsor crash and believed the defendant was having “another manic episode.”

The Los Angeles Times reports that the 37-year-old man was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In 2018, she suffered a mental breakdown and was admitted to a psychiatric facility a year later.
