Wanindu Hasaranga reprimanded for showing his dissent during the third ODI against Afghanistan

During Hasaranga’s third over, Najibullah Zadran’s LBW decision was overturned and Hasaranga flew into a rage and pointed on the giant screen. The charges were brought by field referees Nitin Menon and Lyndon Hannibal, third referee Raveendra Wimalasari and fourth referee Ruchira Palliyaguruge.

Wanindu Hasaranga admitted the offense and accepted the sanction proposed by Ranjan Madugalle of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Officials, so there was no need for a formal hearing.
