An IndiGo pilot’s in-flight advertisement went viral on social media recently. While it is customary to make announcements in Hindi or English, the captain of Bangalore to Chandigarh flight has delighted people on board by presenting an advertisement on board in a Punjabi-English mix.

At first, he heard the pilot speak in English. He said that during the flight, while passengers seated on the left side will be able to show off their photography skills, people seated on the right will simultaneously see Hyderabad.

Then he moved to Punjabi and said that later, passengers on the left will see Jaipur, while the other side will be able to see Bhopal.

And the pilot hilariously added that those in the aisle seat could only turn left and right and look at each other. This left the passengers in a split. “The lesson is what? Take a seat by the window,” the captain joked.

Then he went on to give a special mention to all the passengers from defense, paramilitary and veterans on board. He even urged people to wear their masks and stay seated until the plane lands in Chandigarh.

The pilot said, “Your baggage is safe. Until the time you don’t open the doors, please remain seated. Baggage is completely safe with you.”
