Cyclone Murasu Now a Severe Storm as Andhra Coast Braces for Overnight Landfall
Cyclone Murasu strengthened into a severe cyclonic storm in the early hours of Monday, with the India Meteorological Department warning of a red-alert landfall near Ongole overnight bringing winds of up to 120 km/h and a storm surge of up to 1.5 metres.
