Anthony Richardson was one of the most intriguing prospects in this year’s draft and he has finally found his new home. The Indianapolis Colts selected him with the fourth overall pick as they see Richardson as their quarterback for the future.
Richardson has great boom-or-bust potential, so this pick could prove risky for the franchise. The Colts have been quite vocal about drafting a quarterback this year, and they already have their man.
However, fans on social media did not like the franchise’s decision to draft Richardson and criticized the Colts for it. This is how they reacted:

Whether or not the Florida quarterback will start right away, though, remains to be seen. The Colts have Gardner Minshew in case they want Richardson to relax and learn in his rookie season.
Colts fans should be happy to see their franchise finally get a quarterback, as after Andrew Luck, there has been uncertainty surrounding that position for them. Hopefully, Richardson can live up to his potential in the NFL.
