Limpet Mines Hit Tanker in Strait of Hormuz, First Successful Strike Since US–Iran War Began
A small boat attached two limpet mines to the Panama-flagged tanker Louise 1 in the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, sparking an engine-room fire in the first successful attack of its kind since the war between the United States and Iran began in February.
